Denise L. Lewis
Therapeutic Clay Teacher/Mosaic Teacher

Denise L Lewis is a South Jersey artist and art educator working in a variety of media. Works include paintings, found object sculptures, drawings, clay, mosaics, and metal.  She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education from Rowan University; graduating Magna Cum Laude and was awarded the Parthenia J. Vandermark Creative Arts Medallion.  She advocates for art programs in public schools and has been Chairperson for Youth Art Month in Camden County.

 Exhibits, both group and solo, include: Merchantville Arts Walk, Eilandarts Gallery, Blue Cuts, Hammonton Arts Walk, Judith Glickman Fund for the Future Gala, Artists Unite II – Project Fishtown, Hammonton Center for the Arts, Monmouth County Arts Council Juried Show, Bill Smith Gallery and Westby Gallery.

 Her paintings, sculptures and drawings are in private collections in Southampton, NY; Stuttgart, Germany; Nashville,Tennessee; Atlanta, Georgia and New Jersey.
